✅ How long is the warranty?
“Limited Lifetime Warranties” are common with “1-day” installation systems. They are limited given that they won’t warrant moisture-related issues or high hydrostatic pressures or even hot-tire transfer (aka plasticizer migration). If a company won’t guarantee their product for the long haul, the system likely won’t last.

✅ Does it cover moisture damage?
Moisture from Houston’s high humidity or hydrostatic pressure beneath your slab can cause delamination. If your warranty doesn’t include moisture-related damage, it’s a major red flag.

✅ Is hot-tire transfer included?
When plasticizers in hot tires leach into a poor quality topcoat, the result is unsightly and permanent. Many warranties won’t cover this—because most systems can’t handle it.

✅ What kind of base coat is used?
1-day systems use a quick-curing polyurea or polyaspartic coating as both the base coat and single clear top coat. This allows for same-day completion, but when used as base coats, the fast cure property prevents deep concrete penetration. This creates a poorly-penetrating, wafer-thin bond with the concrete slab. (Your entire coating system is only as strong as the direct-to-concrete base coat).

✅ Is it a 1-day or 2-day system?
